PayPal/Venmo may at any time and in its sole discretion, without prior notice, terminate, cancel, suspend or modify any offer or these terms.

By participating in any offer, you agree to these terms, to the redemption terms set by the applicable business profile for its offer, and to additional terms applicable to your participation in any business profile’s offer as set out in our user agreement.

Eligible Participant: Open only to individuals who meet the following criteria (“Eligible Participants”): (1) are residents of the United States or one of its territories, (2) are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your state or territory of residence, and (3) have an existing U.S. Venmo account in good standing (“Valid Account”).

Offer Period: Each offer starts when made available on the Venmo app by the applicable business profile and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on the date indicated for that offer, as specified in the Venmo app. (“Offer Period”).

Eligible Purchase: Any purchase made with a Valid Account during the Offer Period from the applicable business profile making the offer in at least the specified minimum purchase amount for that offer, excluding any taxes or gratuities (“Eligible Purchase”). Eligible Purchases do not include Venmo Debit MasterCard®, or Venmo Visa® Credit Card purchases made directly and not through the app.

How it works: To qualify for the reward, Eligible Participants must save an offer during the Offer Period. Business profiles dictate the duration of the Offer Period and any limit on how many offers may be claimed by potential buyers. Once an Eligible Participant has saved an Offer to their Valid Account, the Eligible Participant must then make an Eligible Purchase during the Offer Period from the applicable business profile that has made the offer. After completing the Eligible Purchase, we will initiate a transfer from the business profile to the Eligible Participant’s Valid Account for a cash-back reward in the amount advertised for the applicable offer (“Reward”). The Reward will be added to your Valid Account within four (4) business days. If an Eligible Purchase does not complete or is not recorded by Venmo servers during the Offer Period, for any reason, that Eligible Purchase will not qualify for the Reward. There is a limit of one (1) Reward per Venmo account for any offer. Please see our User Agreement for details on how refunds for an Eligible Purchase affect any Reward you may have already received.

Miscellaneous: Valid Account must remain in good standing from the time of participation through Reward fulfilment to receive a Reward, as determined in Venmo’s sole discretion. If your account has been suspended, is subject to a hold, or is otherwise restricted in such a manner as to prevent incoming transfers, the Reward transfer will fail, you will permanently forfeit any amount you would have otherwise received pursuant to the offer, and you agree that neither the business profile nor Venmo will have any liability to you as a result of such failure/forfeiture. Venmo reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify any offer in part or in its entirety at any time without notice, for any reason in its sole discretion. Similar offers may run at the same time; qualification for an offer does not constitute qualification for any other offer. By participating in any business profile’s offer, you understand and agree that Venmo and PayPal merely facilitate payment from you to the business profile when making an Eligible Purchase and from the business profile to you in fulfilling the Reward. Returns and any cash-back pending or received shall be processed in accordance with the user agreement. We are not responsible for and assume no liability to you for a business profile’s withdrawal of an offer or failure to honor an offer for any reason, including, without limitation, insufficient balance in the business profile’s Venmo account (and/or failure of the business profile’s backup payment method) such that we are unable to process the Reward transaction, or the termination or suspension of a business profile’s Venmo account in accordance with the user agreement. Venmo is not responsible and/or liable if any e-mail, Reward, Eligible Purchase, or offer-related materials or correspondences are compromised for any reason, including, without limitation, as a result of: loss, fraudulent activity, lateness, illegibility, delay, being tampered with, irregularity, or if any Eligible Participant’s e-mail address, Valid Account, or other contact information does not work, is deleted, or is changed without the Eligible Participant giving prior written notice to Venmo. Venmo reserves the right to review any account or transaction related to an offer, and may, in its sole discretion without notice, delay or reverse completion of the Reward. Offer is void where prohibited and if Eligible Purchases are fraudulent, not completed through legitimate channels, or are irregular in any way. Once claimed, offers may not be transferred. Any questions relating to an offer will be resolved in Venmo’s sole discretion and its decisions related to the offer will be final and binding.
